An Engineer from IIT Kanpur and post graduation in Management from Bombay University, he is also trained through various Executive Programs from universities in India & abroad like the IIMs, ASCI, Kellogg business School USA and Oxford University UK. He has held various senior management positions in industries in diversified fields including automotive and core sectors. He has served as business head, head of large manufacturing plant, and head of marketing for large corporate in India. Prior to joining GEA, he was a head of Strategy and Business Development in a leading $ 500 million manufacturing group.

An Engineer from IIT Roorkee with a management degree from FMS Delhi, he has rich experience of having worked in senior positions in the Central Government. He has also undergone specialized training in UK in Total Quality Management and Change Management. During his tenure with the Government, he has worked on identifying technology gaps and facilitating technology induction in the country, policy making for growth of industries, flow of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in selected sectors, techno economic feasibilities for selected industries. He played instrumental role in restructuring plans of PSUs in India. He has also been Consultant to the UN where he was advising and facilitating development of industries in one of the developing countries. He was Industrial Advisor in the Central Government prior to his getting associated with GEA.
